Few places in the world can offer the wealth and the diversity of the forests of Mexico. The country has extensive conifer forests - many of them surrounding the skirts of its mountains - similar to the Alpine forests.
In the high sierra of the states of Chihuahua, Durango and in wide areas of the sierra of Oaxaca, there are large concentrations of conifers, cedars and oaks. In the central plateau, the woods cover extensive areas of the states of Morelos, Michoacan, Hidalgo, Puebla and the State of Mexico.
From the pine woods to the forests of fog and the wetlands, the country provides with all the forest locations to satisfy the most demanding film production needs.
